Bronzed Beauty by Beck specializes in Express Tans so you can get to your day. Where traditional spray tan solutions take between 8 to 12 hours to develop, the solutions used by Beck develop within 2 hours. That means you’re free to go about your normal day without worrying about your new tan getting wet or rubbed off, leaving an uneven tan. Although the tanning solution itself is fast developing, Beck will not speed through the application. This is where Beck’s artistry works into the picture. She treats each customer as her own piece of art, taking her time to provide an even coat of vegan friendly, cruelty free, bronzed tanning solution. Spray Tanning allows people to achieve a bronze
glow whenever they want, all year round. The service is quick
and easy and choosing a Spray Tan over a natural tan has so
many benefits, including:
❶ It’s always perfect - no awkward tan lines from clothing or
uneven sunscreen application.
❷ You can control the colour, changing the deepness of the
colour for different events or the tone of your skin.
❸ No harmful UV exposure - Melanoma is a form of cancer
that develops within the skin’s pigment cells. According to the
Melanoma Institute of Australia, it kills more young people in
Australia than any other single cancer. 95% of melanomas are
caused by overexposure to the sun. Spray tans allow for the sunkissed, bronze look all year round, without having to expose yourself to dangerous UV rays.
Dihydroxyacetone, more commonly known as ‘DHA’, is the primary ingredient in sunless tanning products. DHA is colourless, but when it hits the outermost layers of the skin, a beautiful chemical reaction occurs and a tan is born. DHA is 100% safe for external use. It has not been approved for internal use or application on lips or eyes. It is highly advised that you prevent any inhalation or ingestion of DHA - hence your salon disposables!
If youwant tomaintainahealthy,consis entglow, it is recommendedthat you come inforaspray tan every 7-12 days. It is very important, however, that you are following the correct prep and aftercare to achieve consistent, desired results!
Immediately after your appointment you should avoid touching your skin. This can not only leave marks on your fresh tan but will also transfer bronzer onto your hands. You should not get your tan wet at all until your initial rinse, whenever that maybe. This includes washing your hands, letting your pet lick you, sweating, crying, steam rooms etc! This will stop the DHA in those areas from developing further anD will mean those areas will be un even to the rest of your body.
To preserve your tan, make sure you are following
the following aftercare tips:
❶ During your initial rinse, avoid using any soaps or scrubs as this can affect the further development of the DHA.
❷ Within 24 hours of your appointment avoid sweating, swimming and any moisturisers. These may cause streaks in your tan before the DHA is fully developed.
❸ After the initial 24 hours, start moisturising morning and night with a moisturizer that is free from any artificial fragrances or mineral oils and should be avoiding excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, steam rooms and/or long hot showers/baths.
